Makassar, 11th of June, 2026 – The Capture Fisheries Study Program, Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries (FIKP), Hasanuddin University, organized a Technical Socialization on Logbook and Final Report Preparation for the Off-Campus Impactful Learning Program (PBLK) on Thursday, June 11, 2026. The event was held from 10:00 AM WITA until completion at the Hall of the Dean’s Building, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries, Hasanuddin University. The activity was attended by students of the Capture Fisheries Study Program from the Class of 2024 who are preparing to participate in the PBLK program. The socialization was conducted to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the technical requirements and reporting procedures associated with off-campus learning activities. The session featured Muhammad Kurnia, S.Pi., M.Sc., Ph.D., Head of the Capture Fisheries Study Program, and Dr. Ir. Rachmat Hidayat, S.Pi., as resource persons. Both speakers delivered detailed explanations regarding the administrative and reporting aspects of the program.

The materials presented included the calculation of activity hours, logbook preparation formats, PBLK final report formats, and guidelines for preparing documentation and supporting attachments. In addition to the presentations, the event included an interactive discussion and question-and-answer session, providing students with the opportunity to clarify various technical aspects of program implementation and reporting. In his presentation, Muhammad Kurnia emphasized the importance of accurately documenting every activity undertaken during the off-campus learning program. He explained that logbooks and final reports serve not only as administrative requirements but also as evidence of the learning outcomes achieved by students throughout their participation in the program.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ir. Rachmat Hidayat highlighted the importance of preparing systematic and well-structured reports in accordance with the established guidelines. He noted that proper documentation and reporting facilitate the evaluation process and contribute significantly to the assessment of students’ achievements during the program. Through this socialization activity, the Capture Fisheries Study Program expects all participants to gain a clear understanding of the procedures for preparing logbooks and final reports. Such understanding is expected to support the successful implementation of the Off-Campus Impactful Learning Program and ensure that students are able to document and communicate their learning experiences effectively. The event concluded with an enthusiastic discussion session, reflecting the students’ strong interest in preparing themselves for participation in the Off-Campus Impactful Learning Program. Through this initiative, students are expected to strengthen their professional competencies, gain practical experience, and enhance their readiness to contribute to the fisheries sector and broader community.
