Makassar, December 7, 2025 — The Capture Fisheries Study Program held a socialization event introducing four academic information systems—NEOSIA, SIKOLA, SIPANTAU, and SIPAKAMASE—aimed at improving learning management and academic accessibility for students. The activity took place at the Conference Room of the Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries. The session was delivered by Dr. Ir. Rachmat Hidayat, S.Pi., who explained the functions, benefits, and operational procedures of each platform. He emphasized that integrating digital systems is a crucial step in enhancing academic efficiency and preparing students to adapt to modern technological advancements. During the session, students were briefed on the use of NEOSIA as an academic administration portal, SIKOLA as a learning and course management system, SIPANTAU for academic monitoring and progress tracking, and SIPAKAMASE as an engagement platform to support student services and academic interaction.

Students actively participated in discussions, asking questions regarding system access, course registration, and online learning features. The socialization is expected to enhance digital literacy among Capture Fisheries students and strengthen academic workflow within the faculty. This initiative reflects the faculty’s commitment to improving the quality of education through digital transformation, ensuring that students gain maximum benefits from technology-integrated learning.
