Makassar, August 1, 2024 – The Fisheries Resource Utilization Study Program, Marine Science and Fisheries Faculty, Hasanuddin University held a meeting with its lecturers in the headroom of the PSP study program. This meeting was chaired by the Head of the Study Program, Dr. Ir. Alfa Nelwan, M.Si. and attended by the lecturers of the PSP study program.

The agenda of this meeting included several important topics:

1. Laboratory Specialization for Class of 2022 Students

The discussion began with the specialization of laboratories for students in the class of 2022. This discussion aimed to ensure the right placement according to the student’s interests and talents. Previously, the study program had distributed Google forms to the class of 2022 students to fill out a laboratory specialization form, which was divided into three laboratory specialization options: the fishing technology laboratory, the design of fishery equipment and vessels, and the capture fisheries information system laboratory.

2. Implementation of Hasanuddin University Main Performance Index (IKU) 2024

The meeting continued with a discussion on strategies and steps to support the implementation of the Hasanuddin University Main Performance Index (IKU) 2024. The main focus is improving the quality of research and community service.

3.Updating Semester Learning Program

The process of inputting the semester learning program into the system was discussed to ensure that all courses were registered, updated, and also used Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Project Based Learning (PjBL). This is important to enhance the academic quality of the students.

The meeting went smoothly and interactively, with active participation from all members present. It is hoped that the results of this meeting can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation of the study program in the future.
