Students of the Fisheries Resource Utilization Study Program (PSP) conduct field practice activities in Fishery Port Management and Fishery Port Governance. This field practice took place for 2 days, namely on October 7-8, 2023. This activity took place in 3 different ports, Untia Fishing Port (PPN), Paotere Fish Landing Base (PPI), and Beba Fish Landing Base (PPI), Takalar. This activity was attended by 20 students. The person in charge of this field practice is Mr. Muhammad Kurnia, S.Pi., M.Sc., Ph. D. who is also the lecturer in this course. The purpose of this field practice is that students are able to compare the theory obtained in class with what is seen in the field. Some of the things done by students during field practice activities are students observing the facilities of the fishing port visited and also conducting interviews with local officers to dig deeper into the function or use of existing fishing port facilities. After conducting this field practice activity, each student made a report as a result of the observations they got at several ports visited.
