It is a faculty joint laboratory, however it is managed by Capture Fisheries Study Program. It is located in the 2nd floor of Fisheries Department building. It focuses on four main studies:
1) fisheries and marine database,
2) application of remote sensing technology and technique of marine mapping with the use of Geographic Information System (GIS) and
3) marine resource potency and calculation. It runs by lecturers with relevant fields.
