The Capture Fisheries Study Program organized a seminar entitled \u201cStrengthening Student Interest in National Student Programs (PKM, KTI, and PPK-Ormawa)\u201d<\/em> on Sunday, December 7, held at the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries, 2nd floor. The seminar aimed to enhance students\u2019 understanding and motivation to participate in various national-level student programs organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. Through this activity, students were expected to recognize opportunities, mechanisms, and strategies for preparing competitive proposals for PKM, KTI, and PPK-Ormawa programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seminar featured Dr. Ir. Nursinah Amir, S.Pi., M.P. as the keynote speaker, who delivered insights on the importance of students\u2019 roles in national-scale academic and non-academic activities. In her presentation, she also shared tips and experiences related to proposal writing, strengthening innovative ideas, as well as emphasizing the importance of teamwork and consistency in participating in student programs. The event received high enthusiasm from students of the Capture Fisheries Study Program. Interactive discussions between the speaker and participants took place actively, as reflected in the various questions regarding program implementation and funding opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this seminar, the Capture Fisheries Study Program hopes to continuously increase student interest and participation in national student programs, thereby encouraging student achievements and enhancing the institution\u2019s reputation at the national level. In addition, the seminar served as an initial platform for students to build academic and organizational networks, as well as to develop confidence in expressing creative and innovative ideas. Programs such as PKM, KTI, and PPK-Ormawa are considered effective in fostering critical thinking skills, leadership, and social awareness among students, particularly in supporting the sustainable development of the marine and fisheries sector.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
